Bull studs and semen production

VikingGenetics operates one centralized bull stud located at the office headquarters, housing approximately 280 bulls. The company maintains high welfare standards, with the objective of keeping all bulls inlouse housing systems. Semen processing takes place in state-of-the-art laboratories, including production of sexed semen, that adhere to stringent quality standards and is exceeding major industry standardized KPIs. VikingGenetics sells approximately 4 million semen doses anually, serving both the home markets and over 50 countries worldwide.

VikingGenetics is owned by VikingDanmark, Växa Sverige and Faba in Finland representing around 16,000 farmers. The company employs more than 160 professionals across Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Globally.
